How are you going to prepare for the big week? 
Everybody is warning me about the absurd number of cases we&;ll have to review. So I guess I’ll have to bring fresh ears, sharp eyes, and an empty head. 

What do you hope to see in the judging room?
Healthy snacks, nice people, a great screen, and a comfy chair. But most of all, creative ideas and solutions that make you go &;Wow, why didn’t I think of that?&; In the end it’s that simple. Nothing more to it.

What do award shows like Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity mean for the industry? 
Great weather, nice people, and inspiration. A lot of inspiration - enough to be humbled. And inspiration to start creating your best work ever in the year to come.

Explain the importance of your category in one sentence.
Changing people’s attitude or behavior is a tall order for us creatives. You need to be exactly right for it to work. Plus execute it in the best way that fits your brand. Do all of that and you earn my respect.

What are your all time favourite Cannes cases?
Wow. That’s a big question. The ones that come to mind first: ’, ;Small Business Saturday’, Dove Self Esteem.. I just love it when our work can have that human touch and make a difference.
